England boss Gareth Southgate has been dealt another potential injury blow ahead of the World Cup as Conor Gallagher was forced to leave the field just 15 minutes into Chelsea's game against Brentford on Wednesday night.
The Chelsea starlet, who is expected to be named in Southgate's provisional squad, walked slowly from the field after he appeared to suffer an injury challenging for a ball with defender Ethan Pinnock.
He was subsequently replaced by Mateo Kovacic in a concerning moment for Southgate, who is already expected to be without Gallagher's teammate Reece James after he suffered a knee injury against AC Milan last week.
