Gareth Southgate will retain Sammy Lee and Martyn Margetson on his England coaching staff, with his under-21 assistant Steve Holland joining the senior staff.
It is understood Lee, who was assistant to Sam Allardyce in his brief reign, and recently-appointed goalkeeping coach Margetson will keep their jobs as Southgate begins an initial four-match stint as interim boss.
There has been no final decision on Leicester assistant Craig Shakespeare, who agreed a part-time role that saw him split his time between club and country, but the elevation of Holland suggests he could be moved out.
Holland has also been performing a dual role, acting as first-team coach at Chelsea as well as being Southgate's right-hand man with the Young Lions.
