Edouard Mendy’s Chelsea future is in doubt, with the goalkeeper considering a move away from Stamford Bridge amid concerns about his first-team prospects.
The Senegal international has been a major success at Chelsea since his £22million arrival from Rennes in 2020.
But his status as the Blues’ No 1 has been thrown into doubt since manager Thomas Tuchel was sacked and replaced with Graham Potter in September.
Kepa Arrizabalaga started the Potter reign in goal, when Mendy had a knee injury. But Mendy has started Chelsea’s last four matches, three of which they lost, and the goalkeeper remains hopeful he can convince Potter he deserves to be first choice.
