Ian Ladyman has questioned whether the Newcastle hierarchy will continue their show of support for Eddie Howe amid the side's disappointing league campaign.
The Magpies suffered their 12th league defeat of the season at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, as goals from Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk extended their poor record in the capital.
The result left Howe's side languishing in 10th place, two points ahead of the Blues, who have a game in hand. It is a far cry from their heroics last term, when they finished the campaign in the Champions League qualification places.
