Cesc Fabregas is on the verge of signing a 41-year-old Premier League legend for his side Como as they bid to stay in the Italian top-flight.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea player, 37, was firstly a caretaker manager then a No.2 as Como returned to the Serie A after a 21-year absence.
The side, who are owned by the Hartono brothers, are currently the richest club in the Italian league.
As they look to maintain their status in the Serie A next season, Como are turning towards the free agency market for help.
