Chelsea are poised for a huge rebuild this summer, with up to 15 first-team players to depart in a £280million clear-out under Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino was finally confirmed as Blues head coach on Monday, and while he does not officially start work until July 1, he will already be drawing up plans for his squad with the transfer window set to open in 11 days' time.
Along with co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, the former Tottenham boss needs to streamline his squad to a more manageable size this summer. As things stand he is taking on a group of over 30 players after Todd Boehly and Co splashed the cash like never before in 2022-23.
