Chinese FA hopes Chelsea 'have learnt good lesson' over Kenedy incident

The Chinese Football Association (CFA) has released a statement saying it hopes all at Chelsea have learnt a lesson from the incident which saw Kenedy sent home.

The 21-year-old was sent back to England in disgrace after two offensive posts on his Instagram account -- at least one of which was racially insensitive -- caused outrage in China.

"We have taken notice of the inappropriate behaviours involving Mr Robert Kenedy, the strong reaction of the fans as well as the apologies made by Mr Kenedy himself and Chelsea Football Club," a CFA spokeswoman said, according to the Daily Telegraph.
