Chelsea have taken a major leap forward in their plans to renovate Stamford Bridge into a 60,000-seat venue after the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, approved the club's plans for a new stadium.
Martyn Ziegler of The Times posted a press release confirming Khan has green-lit the £500 million project, which would include an injection of £15.75 million across community activities and affordable housing in the area:
