Chelsea's Andreas Christensen not ruling out Monchengladbach stay

Chelsea youngster Andreas Christensen says he is open to the possibility of making his loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach permanent next summer, but insists he is yet to make a firm decision over his future.

Christensen, 20, has established himself as one of the brightest young defensive talents in Europe at Gladbach, making 31 appearances in the Bundesliga last term while winning the club's Player of the Season award, as well as featuring heavily in their Champions League campaign.

Chelsea see the Denmark international, who returned to Borussia-Park on loan this summer, as a big part of their future plans under head coach Antonio Conte, but Gladbach have on several occasions voiced their interest in buying him outright for a club-record fee.
