Chelsea's plan to expand Stamford Bridge to 60,000 appear to be over, for the time being at least, as their granted planning permission is due to expire this month.
The Premier League club were given permission by the City of London to expand their current west London home in March 2017 but they have failed to act on their initial request.
Chelsea's project, which would have cost in the region of £1billion, would have seen the club demolish the club's museum and the Millennium and Copthorne Hotels.
However, the west London outfit have not started any work on their plans with their planning permission expiring in just under a week.
