Chelsea forward Pedro returned to the Nou Camp on Tuesday, but only to pay a visit to friends while away training with Spain during the international break.
The 29 year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge in a £20million deal last summer after seven trophy-laden seasons in Barcelona's first team, which included five La Liga titles and three Champions League wins.
The Spanish winger admitted he held talks with Barcelona club president Josep Maria Bartomeu about a return to his boyhood club in the summer - a move that never materialised.
Pedro, however, was welcomed back at the Catalan club as he prepares to face Italy and Albania as part of Spain's World Cup qualifiers over the next few days.
