The Brazilian will make his second debut for Chelsea after his £32million deadline day switch from Paris Saint-German.

Luiz will start at centre-half after John Terry was ruled out through injury but Wilkins insists he doesn’t have the right qualities to play in that positon and reckons the likes of Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will cause him serious problems.

Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, the former Chelsea assistant said: “This Liverpool side has tremendous movement in forward areas and David Luiz does go wandering a touch, so it is going to be an extremely interesting game if he is going to play.
