Chelsea transfer report: Blues target Kostas Manolas also wanted by Juventus as replacement for ‘AC Milan-bound’ Leonardo Bonucci

Juventus are eyeing a deal for Chelsea target Kostas Manolas as a direct replacement for AC Milan-bound Leonardo Bonucci.

Centre-back Bonucci is expected to complete a £35m move to the San Siro imminently and Juve have already begun their search for the 30-year-old's replacement.

Roma defender Manolas has been the subject of intense speculation throughout the summer window to date, with Premier League champions Chelsea reportedly interested.

However, according to Tuttosport, Juve are pressing forward in trying to lure Roma into selling Manolas despite their initial reluctance.
