Roma reportedly want to sign Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas in January, while the Blues could be set to move for Marcelo Brozovic if Inter Milan sell him.
According to Il Tempo (h/t TalkSport), Roma are "very keen" on the Spaniard and are "exploring the possibility" of recruiting him this winter.
The midfielder has made just six Premier League appearances under Antonio Conte at a total of 193 minutes, averaging just over a half-hour on the pitch each time.
However, Fabregas has often impressed during his limited opportunities this term and did so against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, helping to set up Diego Costa's winner within minutes of coming on as a substitute in the hard-fought 1-0 victory.
