Chelsea are reportedly set to beat Real Madrid to the signing of Roma goalkeeper Alisson in a €70 million (£62 million) deal, potentially paving the way for Thibaut Courtois to join Los Blancos.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Madrid are not willing to pay the asking price the Serie A side have put on their star stopper, giving Chelsea the edge in the chase for the Brazil international.
The move will potentially push Courtois closer to the Stamford Bridge exit door. The Belgium international reportedly won't sign a new contract with the Premier League side, with his current terms set to expire in 2019.
