AC Milan will reportedly target Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas this summer once their takeover by Chinese investors is complete.
According to Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport (h/t the Daily Star's Jamie Styles), the Rossoneri are in the process of being taken over and it should be complete in March, with the investment set to give them the funds to compete in the transfer market once again.
With the new funding, Milan hope to bring in a marquee recruit in the summer—along with securing their stars on long-term contracts—and Fabregas has reportedly been identified as a prime candidate.
