AC Milan are ready to offer Giacomo Bonaventura a new contract in an attempt to ward off interest from Chelsea.
The 27-year-old has been one of the stars for his team this season, helping them climb to third in the Serie A table.
The midfielder's form has attracted the interest of Chelsea and Antonio Conte is keeping tabs on the player's future.
But, according to Tuttosport, Milan are ready to end any speculation by offering Bonaventura a new deal.
The Italian club are currently paying the Blues target around £16,000-a-week but his agent, Mino Raiola, is looking to double that.
