Serie A giants Roma have reportedly set their sights on Aleix Vidal, with Emerson Palmieri set to join Chelsea.
Vidal, 28, has struggled for game time at Barcelona this season and he has made just 18 appearances for the Spanish giants this term.
The Spain international had been linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea but with the Blues now seemingly turning their attention to Palmieri, Roma have now stepped up their efforts to sign Vidal.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are confident of landing Vidal before this month's deadline with Palmieri's move to Chelsea set to be complete before Wednesday.
