Chelsea to consider enquiries for a number of fringe players as they look to raise funds to sign a centre back - with a former Blues star an option for Enzo Maresca's side

Chelsea are assessing enquiries for a number of their fringe players as they look to offset their bid to sign a new centre back.

Defender Renato Veiga is attracting interest from Premier League sides Wolves and Bournemouth while midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, who they planned to loan to Strasbourg, is a loan target for Borussia Dortmund.

Cesare Casadei has interest from the Netherlands and Germany after Torino's £10million bid was rejected while substantial offers for Christopher Nkunku, Axel Disasi and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall may also be considered.

Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi, who formerly played for the club, is an option for Chelsea but is valued at £55m.
