Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise's move to Chelsea has collapsed 48 hours after Mail Sport's revelation that the proposed transfer was subject of 'tapping-up' claims.
Palace chairman Steve Parish on Thursday announced that Olise has signed a new contract with the Selhurst Park club, news that came just two days after it emerged Chelsea had offered in the region of £35million for the France Under-21 international, a bid they believed activated a complex release clause in his contract.
Olise has signed a new four-year contract worth in the region of £100,000-per-week.
There has been a confidence behind the scenes at Palace for a number of weeks that Olise would sign fresh terms with the Eagles this summer.
