Chelsea target Kostas Manolas is reportedly close to signing a new contract with Roma, but will have a release clause of just £27million.
Reports in Italy claim the defender is on the verge of agreeing a new deal with the Serie A giants after several rounds of negotiations took place.
The Greece international is currently under contract with Roma until 2019 but would commit for a further two or three more years and earn an improved £2.2m per season plus bonuses.
However, the newspaper also states that the 26-year-old could leave for just £27m if a foreign club comes back in for him at any time.
