Chelsea Supporters' Trust slams club chief Todd Boehly for co-owning a website that resells tickets at 'significantly inflated prices'

Chelsea fans have accused Todd Boehly of a ‘breach of trust’ after it emerged the billionaire co-owns a website involved in reselling tickets to Premier League games, including his own team’s.

The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust released a strongly-worded statement in reaction on Thursday in which they write their members have lost faith in their club tackling the ‘ongoing exploitation’ of ticket touting, while calling on Boehly to cease selling to tourists.

Vivid Seats is an US-based online marketplace of which Boehly is both an investor and director. Namechecked on the Premier League’s list of ‘unauthorised ticketing websites’, it allows foreign-based users to flog tickets for up to tens of thousands of pounds.
