Edouard Mendy has returned to Chelsea after sustaining an injury while on international duty with Senegal.
The 28-year-old has been training with the national team after being called up for a friendly against Morroco on Friday.
He has, however, been forced to return to Stamford Bridge after suffering a thigh injury.
Mendy will assessed by Chelsea's medical staff after completing a £22million to Frank Lampard's club this summer.
The Senegalese Football Federation confirmed the news via an official statement on their website.
It said: 'The Senegalese Football Federation announces the goalkeeper of the National Selection Edouard Mendy sustained an injury to the right thigh that occurred during the training session on Wednesday, October 07, 2020 and has undergone a medical examination at the hospital in Rabat.
