Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is on the verge of signing with Italian outfit AC Milan on a two-year deal, according to reports.
Chelsea are planning a mass clear-out this summer and Giroud, who is set to become a free agent when his contract runs out on June 30, is one of those expected to depart.
And according to Italian publication Calciomercato.com, the experienced French striker has chosen AC Milan as his next destination having received offers elsewhere from the likes of West Ham and New York City FC.
The report goes onto claim that Giroud still believes he can have a big impact at the highest level, and he is 'intrigued' by the chance to play in Serie A and in the Champions League again.
