Lille have joined West Ham by making an ambitious request to take Michy Batshuayi on loan.
Batshuayi has yet to start a Premier League game since his £33million summer move from Marseille, with West Ham and now Ligue 1 side Lille interested in offering him a temporary move away from Stamford Bridge.
But the Belgium striker is needed by Antonio Conte as cover for Diego Costa and is ready to stay despite limited opportunities.
Conte has previously insisted the 23-year-old will not be loaned out, so soon after making the move to Chelsea, and will remain in London as he looks to adapt to English football.
