Willy Caballero has revealed he received death threats after his horror mistake while on international duty for Argentina at the 2018 World Cup.
The Chelsea goalkeeper, just minutes after half-time in his nation's group stage clash against Croatia, sliced a clearance and allowed Ante Rebic to fire into the top corner.
Croatia, who would go on to reach the final in Russia, eased to a 3-0 victory - and Caballero bore the brunt of frustration from irate fans.
'With the mistake for Croatia's goal I went to lift it to give it to Toto Salvio, but I hit the ground,' he explained to TNT Sports.
