Thibaut Courtois is ready to shelve talks over a new contract as the uncertainty over his Chelsea future intensified.
The Belgium international's existing deal expires at the end of next season, though Chelsea desperately want to tie their No 1 down to a new long-term contract.
However, talks have not progressed since the last round of talks in May, with Courtois understood to want a deal worth £200,000-per-week - a package that would represent a 100 per cent pay increase.
Courtois has been consistently linked with a return to Spain.
