Eden Hazard said he was not surprised to be left out of Chelsea's starting XI for their FA Cup semi-final win over Tottenham, claiming manager Antonio Conte made a 'great choice' picking two-goal hero Willian in his place.
Hazard was rested alongside fiery striker Diego Costa for Saturday's clash between the Premier League's top two sides at Wembley.
Antonio Conte picked Willian in place of the Belgium forward and the Brazilian repaid his manager's faith by scoring Chelsea's first two goals in a thrilling 4-2 victory. Hazard came off the bench to score Chelsea's third goal but the 26-year-old believes Willian's performance justified Conte's team selection.
