Chelsea squad for China and Singapore tour contains four teenagers as manager Antonio Conte gives forgotten striker Loic Remy another chance

Antonio Conte has named four teenagers in his Chelsea squad for the tour to China and Singapore along with forgotten striker Loic Remy.

As expected there were some big-name omissions with Diego Costa, Nemanja Matic and Kurt Zouma all absent with a view to completing moves away from the club.

Eden Hazard and new £40million midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko have stayed in London to work on fitness, and £32m centre-half Toni Rudiger has yet to report for pre-season training after extended international duty with Germany in the Confederations Cup.

With a shortage of options up front, it means another opportunity for 30-year-old Remy, who played a key role when Chelsea won the Premier League title in 2015 but spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace.
