A former Chelsea legend has questioned the club's decision to sign Moises Caicedo when they could have bought in the 'more experienced' Sofyan Amrabat at a knockdown price instead.
The Blues splashed a record £115m on bringing Caicedo to Stamford Bridge last month, pipping Liverpool to the Ecuadorian's signature.
However, Chelsea fans have been far from impressed with the 21-year-old's early showings for the club, with the defensive midfielder at fault for Nottingham Forest's goal in the Blues 1-0 defeat on Saturday.
Now one former Chelsea star has hit out on the club's decision to bring in Caicedo and has earmarked a player who would have been more suitable.
