Chelsea are reportedly on the cusp of selling 19-year-old centre forward Deivid Washington to Strasbourg - the Ligue 1 club that is also owned by Blues boss Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.

According to L'Equipe, both clubs are 'close to finalising a deal for Washington' who could be sold for around £17.6million (€21m).

The centre forward joined Chelsea for £17m back in 2023 from Brazilian side, Santos, and the west London outfit now looks set to make a £600,000 uplift on the striker, should he join the French club.

L'Equipe adds that Washington is also set to agree a five-year contract upon signing for Strasbourg.
