Chelsea have launched a late £21million bid to sign Torino full-back Davide Zappacosta.
The 25-year-old Italy international is heading to London for a medical.
Zappacosta will sign a four year contract worth around £45,000 a week after tax and has flown to London with his lawyer Luca Pastore.
Manager Antonio Conte has been frustrated during much of the summer transfer window, most recently losing out on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool having already been beaten to Romelu Lukaku by Manchester United.
