Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with boss Thomas Tuchel about doubling the length of his contract.
The German, who guided the Blues to a second Champions League title in 2021, has two years left on his current deal.
The former Borussia Dortmund and PSG manager stuck by the Blues when the club’s existence was in doubt earlier this year, when former owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK government following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The new ownership group, led by American Todd Boehly have since come in and formed a good relationship with Tuchel, especially given the pair have been dealing with the summer transfer business together.
