Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has branded the abuse of Raheem Sterling as 'disgusting' after the club was shamed this week by alleged racist comments made towards the Manchester City forward.
Chelsea have suspended four supporters from attending their games amid a police investigation into racial abuse directed at Sterling during the victory over City last weekend.
Sarri said: 'I want to say that I condemn any form of discrimination, of course. It was disgusting. You know very well my opinion, the opinion of the club, but now we have to go on.'
The Chelsea press officer had previously intervened to prevent further questions, citing concerns over prejudicing the police enquiry.
