Chelsea legend John Terry to be offered big-money deal by Shanghai Shenhua

Gus Poyet is set to tempt John Terry with a lucrative payday to end his career with his Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua.

Former Chelsea midfielder Poyet was confirmed as the team's new manager on Tuesday, and is keen to make Terry his first signing.

The 35-year-old centre half had to wait until the end of last season before being offered a one-year extension at Stamford Bridge.
