Marcos Alonso made the most of his enforced lay-off by enjoying a meal with friends at Zuma in Kensington as his Chelsea team-mates prepared for the Premier League clash at Burnley.
The 27-year-old Spaniard was ruled out of Thursday's game after he was hit with a three-match ban for violent conduct.
Alonso appeared to stand on the back of Shane Long's calf during last Saturday's Premier League meeting at Southampton.
He will also miss Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against the Saints as well as the league match against Swansea six days later.
