Chelsea hitman Diego Costa gets physio Marcelo Ribeiro with chewing gum prank

We have seen in recent weeks that the Diego Costa off the field is an entirely different, altogether more jovial character than the prowling Chelsea target man who snarls his way through 90 minutes.

While his conduct on the pitch improves, Costa is emerging more from his hardened shell in recent weeks.

He was filmed enjoying a post-match beer in the changing room after the Blues beat West Brom 1-0, and last night he was pictured playing on the pitch Bradley Lowery, a five-year-old Sunderland fan who is battling cancer.

And team-mate Willian caught another piece of brilliant footage on the club’s chartered flight back to London after their 1-0 win in the North East as Costa flexed his pranking muscles.
