Chelsea 'have a strong interest in Man City forward Gabriel Jesus with new president Todd Boehly keen to make the Brazilian one of his first signings'... with rival suitors Real Madrid 'finding the transfer difficult' to due to quota of non-EU players

Chelsea have joined the race to sign Man City striker Gabriel Jesus, reports claim, with new president Todd Boehly keen to make the Brazilian one of his first signings.

Jesus has a number of teams chasing his signature this summer after falling out of favour at the Etihad, with Real Madrid the latest team to join the hunt after reportedly being offered him.

But now Chelsea have shown 'strong interest' in Jesus and are preparing a bid once the legalities of Boehly's deal have officially gone through - in a blow to Madrid who were hoping to bring him to the Bernabeu.
