Chelsea's former first-team goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon has been keeping a close eye on Jamal Blackman with the Wycombe loanee aiming to challenge Thibaut Courtois.
Blackman, whose Chelsea contract runs until 2019, is impressing in League Two and wants to be loaned out again next season at a higher level.
The plan is for the 23-year-old to then try to compete for the No 1 spot from 2018 and Lollichon is reporting back good things on Blackman from his regular visits.
Looking after the loanees is part of Lollichon's new duties since he stepped down from his role with the first team.
