Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has insisted missing the cut for this year's list of Ballon d'Or nominees is 'not an injustice' - despite his absence angering team-mates.
The 30-man shortlist for the prestigious award was revealed earlier this month, with highly-rated stopper Mendy one of the biggest names to have not featured.
Mendy has enjoyed a stunning start at the club, having won the Champions League last season and starred when helping Chelsea also finish in the top four.
He pulled off several eye-catching saves in the hard-fought victory at Brentford at the weekend, in a performance which raised question marks over the omission.
