Chelsea Football Club will hear later if councillors back plans for a new £500m 60,000-seat stadium.
Hammersmith and Fulham council's planning committee will decide whether to back plans to demolish the current 41,600-capacity Stamford Bridge stadium and replace it with the new venue.
The proposals, which have already been recommended to be approved, include building a walkway over the nearby District Line railway track.
The meeting will be held at 19:00 GMT.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan will have the final say on whether Chelsea can build their new stadium.
The new stadium would be designed by architects Herzog and de Meuron, who were also responsible for the "Birds Nest" Olympic stadium in Beijing.
