Reece James is facing another ‘long' spell on the sidelines to put his hopes of making England’s Euro 2024 squad in doubt.
Mail Sport revealed this morning that Chelsea captain James was scheduled to see a hamstring specialist on Tuesday to discover the extent of the hamstring injury suffered during the Blues’ 2-0 loss at Everton on Sunday.
And Chelsea have confirmed that James will be missing for a period after undergoing ‘medical assessment’.
Chelsea don’t want to put a timescale on how long his recovery might take, but there are fears the injury will rule James out for months than weeks.
