Maurizio Sarri is keen on signing Gonzalo Higuain if he is hired as Chelsea manager this summer, according to reports.
Sarri, the Napoli manager, is one of the favourites to take over at Stamford Bridge should Antonio Conte leave Chelsea now the Premier League season has come to an end; the Blues missed out on qualification for next season’s Champions League though they can still win the FA Cup.
And the 59-year-old Sarri wants to reunite with Higuain, whom he sold to Juventus after a lone season together at Napoli in which the striker scored 36 league goals in just 35 games.
