Giacomo Bonaventura has ended speculation over his future by signing a new contract with AC Milan.
The 27-year-old midfielder is now tied to the Italian giants until 2020 after agreeing a deal worth £1.7million a year.
Bonaventura had been attracting interest from a host of clubs around Europe.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is an admirer of Bonaventura from his time at Juventus and has been linked with a move for the Italy international.
With John Obi Mikel and Oscar both moving to China, Conte is the market for a midfielder to bolster a squad fighting for the Premier League title this season.
