The biggest transfer rumour concerning Chelsea in the last few days has been their reported move for Monaco’s Lemar. Lemar, the 22-year-old France midfielder, was wanted by both Liverpool and Arsenal over the summer, though ASM managed to keep hold of him having lost a number of their key players - including Tiemoue Bakayoko to Chelsea. Both Arsenal and Liverpool will return for Lemar in January, though The Telegraph explain Chelsea want to hijack any potential deal and bring Lemar to Stamford Bridge. He is valued at £80m, and can play in a variety of attacking positions, as well as a wing-back in Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
