The defender has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for over a year now and he is on the Blues’ radar again this summer.
However Milan’s sporting director, Massimiliano Mirabelli, has revealed they have no plans to part with the 23-year-old.
Romagnoli has become a key part of the San Siro club’s defence and they are determined to keep hold of him.
“We want Alessio Romagnoli to remain for a long time and we are already talking to his agent,” Mirabelli told TMW.
“We trust all our players can accompany us for a long while yet.
