Chelsea have little left to fight for this season following their failure to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals, with the FA Cup and a Premier League top four finish still on the table.
The Blues face Leicester on Sunday looking to book their place in the semi-finals of the world’s oldest cup competition, while Antonio Conte’s side have eight games remaining to make up a four-point deficit to reach the top four.
Liverpool, on 60 points, currently sit in fourth with Tottenham one point ahead of them, but Chelsea have to play both of their top four rivals at Stamford Bridge before the end of the season.
