Chelsea target Maurizio Sarri would be keen to of manage a Premier League club if a deal cannot be reached with Napoli, according to reports.
The 59 year-old reportedly has a clause in his contract which will allow another club to hire him for £7million - if they make a formal approach before the end of May.
According to the Evening Standard, the Italian wants a significant pay rise to his current £1.3 million-a-year deal.
He also wants assurances he will be given funds to revamp his ageing squad ahead of next season by the club’s hierarchy.
