Chelsea fans baton-charged by security guards as they try to leave Nou Camp following Champions League defeat to Barcelona

Video has emerged of Chelsea supporters being baton-charged by security staff as they left the Nou Camp following Wednesday night's Champions League defeat to Barcelona.

A two-minute clip posted on Twitter showed a group of around 20 security personnel wearing flourescent jackets charging towards Chelsea fans and lashing out with batons as they tried to exit the stadium.

It came as Chelsea asked travelling fans at the Nou Camp to get in touch with their accounts of problems getting into the stadium ahead of the last-16, second leg tie.

A Chelsea spokesman said on their Twitter account: 'We are aware of reports of incidents outside the ground before the game where a number of Chelsea fans were hurt.
