Chelsea could lose another coach this week after Fleetwood Town shortlisted highly-rated Anthony Barry him to succeed Joey Barton as manager.
Barry was thrown into the spotlight on Monday afternoon by taking charge of training in the hours after Frank Lampard's sacking.
But Sportsmail understands League One Fleetwood are keen on talking to their former player Barry about taking over as they look to wrap up a quick appointment. Barton was relieved of his duties earlier this month.
Chelsea would then be facing a battle to keep hold of a coach, brought in as a defensive specialist, who is believed to enjoy a strong rapport with the current squad.
